How it Works

Above all, our setup is simple. Two giant elastic cords connect a harness to a metal frame. You stand and get buckled into the cords. You also have a helmet. Next you wait for the countdown. However, our trained staff secures every strap and run through safety checks daily. Nevertheless, they do not rush, and they take every precaution. When the countdown ends, the cords release. Shooting you upward more than 40 meters into the air.

The ground drops away fast. While the views open up to show the green canopy of the forest below, and the huge lobby. For a few seconds, you hang weightless. Then gravity pulls you back down, only for the cords to lift you up again. Consequently, you bounce a few times before coming to rest. The whole ride lasts less than a minute, but your heart races for much longer.

There’s a short briefing before every ride, and if you’re unsure, you can ask to watch a few launches first.

When to Visit

Phuket is warm year-round, but mornings are best for the slingshot. The air is cooler and the lines are shorter. If you visit during the dry season, from November to April, you’ll get clear skies and better views. Arrive early if you plan to try multiple attractions. Our Slingshot gets busier in the afternoon.
